Collective Impact Initiative Definition and the Five Conditions of Collective Success
(John Kania & Mark Kramer, SSIR, 2010)
Collective Impact is the commitment of a group of important actors from different sectors to a common agenda for solving a complex social problem.
Successful collective impact initiatives typically have five conditions that together produce true alignment and lead to powerful results: a common agenda, shared measurement systems, mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communication, and backbone support organizations.
Theme : Transformation of Collective Impact for the Next Normal
It has been ten years since the Collective Impact Initiatives were introduced through SSIR. The article was downloaded over 500,000 times.
